The Iraq FA have cancelled a friendly with Haiti on August 14 in Amman because of “organisational reasons”.
The FA had supposedly organised a friendly with Mali at the cost of $100,000 US. However the match was reportedly cancelled, with Haiti replacing the African side. Though today that game was called off after less than 24 hours of the match being announced.
The Iraq team were expected to gather in Baghdad on August 7 however those plans were changed with the squad being assembled on August 20 and holding a training camp in Sulimaniya on August 23.
Other news, Zico has still to arrive in Baghdad.
