A source close to the FA President Najih Humoud, claims that the latter was involved stealing the salary of Brazilian coach Zico worth 600 000 dollars.
The unnamed source made the allegations in a telephone conversation with Iraqfpg.com.
The source noted that the President and secretary of the Iraq FA, Tariq Ahmed conspired to transfer an amount of $600,000 US on the behalf of an Iraqi businessman, with the money transferred onto Brazilian Zico.
The FA president whose tenure was declared void by CAS in November has become an isolated figure with his former allies in the FA, such as vice president Abdul-Khaliq Masoud turning on him to before the upcoming elections.
FIFA have demanded the Iraq FA pay Zico $600,000 owed to him.
